are so many basic tools with which she develops a vocabulary of movement and dance.

Our pedagogy, inspired by the approaches of Célestin Freinet, Maria Montessori, Loris Malaguzzi and Moshe Feldenkrais, is also based on a solid tradition of dance transmission. It allows us to support children and young people with varied personalities, needs and motivations,

The projects of the ASBL Bal Spécial are born from a deep conviction: every child, every young person and every adult, with their unique personality, their abilities and the particularities of their body, possesses a potential for imagination, creation, invention and dance. By enriching dance with theater, visual arts and music, we reach a very diverse audience and open artistic practices to the widest possible number of people.

After an initial discovery of dance, Bal Spécial invites children and teenagers to continue their journey through a multitude of artistic adventures: workshops with invited artists, choreographic creations, meetings with the professional world of dance and live performance, exchanges with other young people, technical deepening workshops and research projects.

Each group benefits from a program of at least 30 workshops per year, from September to early July. From age 10, children have the option to register for a second technical workshop and, for some, a third in order to deepen their dance practice.
